More Pendants

Okay, I've got a few more "in the cooker".  Thank goodness I got through my apathy this afternoon -- I also made chocolate chip cookies, and red enchiladas.  How 'bout that?  :)

I also got my valentines mailed out to a few special friends and family members.  I was especially proud of them because I made them, and the envelopes they were mailed in, myself.  Shout out to Martha Stewart and her awesome scoring board!

Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the valentines themselves -- I made them with card stock, and vintage sheet music.  Shameless self promotion:  I'm selling the vintage sheet music here, in my Etsy shop.

I had a bit of a scare yesterday.  While I was cleaning and washing dishes in the kitchen, somehow my front door opened... and my cat walked out.  She is NOT the exploring type, and one of my greatest fears is her getting loose in the city.  She also doesn't respond to me calling her, so needless to say, I was in a panic.  I ran up and down the hallway, but didn't see her.  I came back into the apartment, in hysterics, to put my shoes on and search outside if I had to.  Just then... I heard a meow.  Olivia was at the front door, begging to come back in, eyes wide as saucers.  After her initial feelings of "Holy hell, what just happened!?" passed, she got a little cocky, walking around like a seasoned traveler.  Today, she seems to have forgotten that she ever went out there.  But I haven't!  I've been enjoying all of my cuddles and pets with her even more than usual, and I really hope I never have to feel that fear of her disappearing ever again!

My wild-eyed adventurer, minutes after her return home.
