First things first... Happy Birthday, Aaron!
He's as tough as he looks. |
I really want to be a better blogger. I don't know why it's so easy for me to be on my computer, browsing Fab.com for an hour, yet apparently it's so difficult to write a blog entry at least every few days. I always say I want to better, so hopefully this time I'll mean it. ;)
Remember that idea I had, about finding something beautiful every day? Well last weekend, I was on overload...
Dave, Ike and I headed out to Beverly Shores (Indiana Dunes) for a camping adventure!
South Shore Line from Chicago, only 1.5 hours to the Dunes! |
No one builds a prettier camp fire than yours truly. |
Our first day there, Lake Michigan was so choppy, it reminded me of the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful. |
This was Ike's first camping adventure, and he was about as happy as he could be.
Sun-bathing Pups. |
Wind-blown! |
He LOVED the tent. |
Enjoying the camp fire from his Ike-sized chair. |
One of the best parts was the portable pizza truck! People and Pups alike enjoyed it.
Mmm... pizza and root beer! |
Ike is happiest when Momma shares her food. |
The Choke & 'Shroom pie. |
Collector of wood, griller of steaks! |
My full-on squatter look, waiting for the train back to Chicago. |
Happy Momma & Pups |
