Today was the first Farmers Market at Sheffield's (in the beer garden), and I was so excited to be part of it! Beth & Tracie were great, and I was happy to meet the other vendors, who were awesome as well!

Kate, with the BEST sunflower oil; I should have bought a bottle, I'm kicking myself for not doing so... hopefully I'll see her again. She was also nice enough to offer me a ride home, so thanks, Kate. :) |

That's me, uncomfortable as usual when I'm the one in front of instead of the one behind the camera lens. |

My little set-up (thanks again to Brook for the ever-useful cedar block!). |
 |
My corner of the market; Dave did a great job helping me hang that cork board! |

How convenient that we found this in the laundry room this morning! |

Looking toward the street across the beer garden -- what a beautiful setting! |

One of the many benefits of working for yourself -- (a minimal amount of) drinking on the job. Thanks for the drink, Evan! |
 |
Yummy eggs from Paulie (the kind I can keep on the counter instead of in the fridge, and that brings me so much happiness). |
 |
Mmm, Kate shared her sweet potato fries with me. They were delicious, and thankfully not soggy or greasy at all -- super crispy and flavorful. |
All in all, it was a pretty great experience! I had my apprehensions, especially because Dave and I were schlepping across town with a LOT of stuff early this morning, but it was nice to meet everyone and make great contacts. I just love seeing other people love the things that I make, and it's always fun when you see someone walking around wearing the jewelry they just bought from me, or telling me about who they're going to give it to as a gift, and how much they'll love it.
Seriously, sometimes I start to feel like I'm all alone in what I'm doing, and it makes me feel better to see someone enjoy a piece as much as I do, and to know that they're wearing that little piece of my heart and hard work around their neck.
